We provide general advice, oral and injectable contraceptives. NB we do not provide an Intra-uterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) Service. Doctors and nurses are keen to help and advise teenagers with various issues.
Private Work
We can undertake some private medical work including medical insurance and claims. There will be a charge for this work.
Smoking Cessation
If you would like support with stop smoking please contact you local pharmacy.
Immunisations
We provide all the recommended Childhood Vaccinations as well as other vaccinations such as the flu jab.
Antenatal Clinic
Antenatal care at the practice is shared with your midwife, GP and Hospital Consultant. Post Natal care is provided at the practice.
Diabeties
The practice has a Diabetic Specialist Nurse, patients can book annual check with the nurse.
Cardiac Clinic
By appointment only. The practice has an ECG machine on-site and patients can be referred for an ECG if necessary. The ECG is performed by one of our Health Care Assistants.
Travel Clinic
If you are travelling abroad please make sure you contact us in plenty of time to arrange any vaccinations that may be necessary. Please be aware that we require at least 6 weeks notice before you travel to allow time for your vaccinations.
Travel Vaccines
Vaccines ideally need to be given at least 6 – 8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

Travel advice is covered by the NHS, however some vaccinations and prescriptions are only available privately.
